The Key to a Successful Hypnosis Session – Creative Visualization

The key to a successful hypnosis session is Creative Visualization.

Visualization clearly shows what you truly want to change, remove or improve in your life.

Hypnosis, “The One Command” by Asara Lovejoy, ThetaHealing by Vianna Stibal and and other techniques have at their center – Visualization.  As I continue to study how to activate the subconscious mind to action, I find the following to be true:

  1. Humans communicate via language.
  2. The Universal Mind, Spirit, The Creator and the subconscious convey information through pictures, sound and/or emotion.

We humans use language (verbal and body) to transfer our thoughts and ideas to others. You are experiencing the transfer of my thoughts through this article.  However all our basic thinking is done in pictures.  We actualy see before we speak.  Pictures of what we want are created in our minds before we give them a word.  When conveying what we want to The Creator (Universal Mind, Higher Intelligence, Holy Spirit) we need to do it in pictures, sounds and emotions.  It has been said that “a picture is worth a thousand words.”  A picture paints the entire story in clearly defined terms.

There are five steps to creative visualization that give amazing results.

  1. Practice total concentration – Hold one thought dominant for at least three minutes.
  2. Know exactly (very clearly) the primary object of your desire and it’s time-frame for completion.  This objective is not the beginning of your desire but the final out come.
  3. Vividly imagine in your mind a living detailed picture of your primary desire. See this picture on a previously blank movie screen as though it is already happening or has happened. This requires absolute concentration. You must not allow random thoughts to disturb the picture you are painting in your mind. Without this singleness of thought your desire is just a thought, nothing more.

Also do not visualize the steps to get there. An example would be if you want to sell your house, visualize signing the contract for sale, packing your belongings, the closing and then the moving out.

For another example of a single thought accompanied by a visual picture and then manifesting, read in the Manifestation Log the entry called “Saltgrass Steak House.”

  4. Release the picture from your consciousness because if you don’t, it is like constantly calling it back for updating.
  5. Be grateful for what you have received.  Act as if it is already true or complete.

Words accompanied by pictures can be akin to being on the “Super Highway of Manifestation” when setting goals or asking for something to happen.  This is why “The One Command” process is such a powerful modality for change.

  1. You have a clear idea of what you want.
  2. You relax your body removing emotional attachment.
  3. You ask for and vividly image your desire has come to completion.
  4. You unwind your old way of thinking and rewind new understanding into your body.
  5. You thank The Creator for the fruition of your desire and release it to be manifested.

So the key to a successful hypnosis session is creative visualization. Not sure about how to perfect your visualization skills? Review my post on Visualization. I will also be posting techniques for developing concentration while visualizing what you want in your life in a future article.

May peace, joy and happiness be yours.

As you have believed, let it be done to you.  Matthew 9:29
