Quantum Physics Meets the Bible Part 2

My last post talked about the interconnectedness we have with the universe and each other.  This entry is going to deal with matter at its lowest level.   This matter is referred to as quantum particles.

In normal experimentation, the Experimenter/Observer watches as the experiment plays out and records the outcome.  An everyday kitchen example would be testing to see if yeast is still viable.  In this experiment I combine 1/2 cup of water, a tablespoon of sugar, and a teaspoon of the yeast.  If the yeast is viable, I will see a chemical reaction of bubbles in my cup within a few minutes.  This is an expected response when the yeast is still alive and useful.  It is predictable.

In the quantum world, when the particles are observed, instead of behaving in the same manner, as they would when not being observed, they collapsed into a set entity (a specific pattern).  With the results of multiple experiments, Quantum physicists realized that there was a relationship between the observer and the observed particles.  The particles were considered as existing and in open “probability” until they were disturbed by the act of observation and measurement.  A visual explanation that you can watch is located on YouTube here.  It is called the Double Slit Experiment.  You may understand it the first time you watch.  It took me several viewings to gain a good understanding of the significance of this information.

The outcome from this discovery, guides me to the idea that the consciousness of an observer brings the observed object into being or collapses it into an entity.  This is because, scientifically, nothing in the universe exists as an actual thing, independent of our perception of it.  Therefore, every minute of every day we are creating our world.  Wallace Wattles says it best in his 1910 book, “The Science of Getting Rich.”  He states, “A person can form things in his thought, and, by impressing his thought upon formless substance, can cause the thing he thinks about to be created.”

I know that our five senses tell us that this is poppy-cock.  I know what I see, hear, feel, taste and smell and they are telling me that this is not possible.  Yet, it is and has happened to me.

The Ancient World knew and understood many things that are just being brought to life now via science.  The fact that all you need to do is ask for what you want (Matthew 7:7-8), then actively visualize the desired outcome as already done, leads me to the conclusion that your consciousness has an effect on the quantum particles in the universe, causing them to collapse and become what you desire.  Through a series of necessary coincidences the item or outcome you wanted comes into your life.  It is not hocus-pocus or magic, it is the way the Creator designed our universe.  “And God said, “Let there be light.”  It came to be however it took billions of years for the right movement to be put into place to allow the appropriate gases to form and then ignite and suns were born.  Therefore, it is the same with your desire.  It may be in your immediate future, a few days, a few months or even a few years.

For the longest time I did not see when it was working in my life because my eyes had not yet been opened to the wonder of it all.  I believed things were not showing up however they were.  They were coming in the manner that I had visualized them including things I didn’t want.   In addition, I would change my mind or move forward in my own way against my intuition and I would go backward not forward.  In initiating change, I began the process of recognizing or correlating my thoughts and dreams with what was in my surrounding world.

I know it works.   I don’t care how it works. I just know that when I do things in a certain way, my desires manifest. So what is this certain way?

Step one: Have a clear understanding of what you want.

Step two: Create in your mind a scene that shows you already have what you desire, such as being congratulated by your friends and family when you graduate from college.  This scene must be something that you feel represents the outcome of what you desire.  When it happens in your world, it will tell you that your request has been answered.  Feel it’s real.

Step three: After having an understanding of what you want and have mentally created the scene, put yourself in a meditative prayer state, ask for what you want and then visualize the outcome that you desire.   (Click here to download a guided meditation with instructions)

Step four: Be grateful for everything in your life and everything that is coming into your life.
