As a quilter, I created a place where I could go, be alone and create what I believed were masterpieces of fabric and thread. I wanted my place to be a refuge from the world. It was a place where I could retreat after work and after taking care of my family. This was a place for me to rejuvenate, think about and find solutions to issues and to relax.
I set up this room in a special way to serve my needs as a quilter. It had a cabinet where my sewing machine was kept with a special table for when I was sewing. My fabric was organized by color in neat plastic bins. There was a large table for laying out my designs and for cutting the fabric. There was a place for all my tools. This was my quilting workshop.
Likewise we can have a Life Workshop. This is a place to work on issues or just to relax. Some people call this a Sanctuary or Laboratory or Refuge or Inner Classroom. I am referring to a sacred or private place that is free from intrusion. The one place that cannot be entered without your permission because it is in your mind.
Your Life Workshop is a place where you can do or be anything that you want. This is the place that you can ask for help and receive it. It is an inner retreat you build with your imagination in any manner that you like, by lowering your brain waves to the theta level.
To initially create this you will go through a detailed visualization meditation. You will visualize the perfect building such as a barn, a garage, a church, a cathedral, a house, a meadow or even a palace. It can be small and cozy or large and elaborate. In whatever situation or location you feel the most comfortable this is what or where your workshop will be. Just as people name their homes, cars or ranches, you can give your Workshop, Sanctuary, or refuge a name.
Within your workshop you have no limitations. This is a where you let go of your physical limitations and become limitless. Just like Eddie Morra, the main character in the movie “Limitless” you can have and know anything and everything that you need to solve problems or be creative. Within the workshop people have learned to sing, write, or even repair an appliance.
There are a few things you will need to set up your workshop. First after deciding what the building or room will look like, visualize a magnificent door for entering, comfortable furniture to relax on and also a way to invite guests into your workshop because they can only come in at your invitation.
One of your tools is a way to get information, such as a computer, or a librarian who will search all the knowledge and come back to you with an answer. You can have a telephone or any other device you believe will be of assistance. You can put in a radio or television so that you can receive communications. You will have a media room or just a movie screen so that you can review your life as in the past, present or the future. In this room you can create any type of tool to solve any problem. This is the world of the imagination and the subjective mind.
We are going to put in a capability cloak in a special closet so that you can become what you need to be to solve any issue. Think of Harry Potter and his Invisibility Cloak.
Because you can use your Life Workshop for healing yourself and others you will need an area designated to healing. This can have any type of table or chair you want, including an operating table. I know you may not be a doctor in the objective world but here you can be anything you want. You will need instruments and medicines that you create when you need them.
One woman had a little broom that she used to sweep out pieces of submarines that she had destroyed with little torpedoes. She used this to destroy the cancer cells (submarines) in her body. Another person created a drink from water and what looked like jelly beans to help with another ailment. Each item had a specific job and therefore was effective because the body knows what it is supposed to do with this.
Sometimes you may want some help. This is when you invite guests into your Life Workshop. You can create an elevator or staircase for them to come into your Workshop. No one but you can enter by the front door. It is your very own private entrance. Your help can be your Master Teacher; your guardian angel. This is your ideal teacher because they know all you need to learn. You do not create your Master Teacher of Guardian Angel. You will walk over to your guest entrance and ask for them to enter into your room that is filled with pure white light. When you meet them you will ask them their name and spend some time with them.
If you are trying to solve a problem or make a decision you can ask any one you know that is an expert in the field to join you in your Life Workshop. You can ask all the questions you want and get answers.
Your Life Workshop can help you whenever you are stuck. It is a natural addition to your One Command. You use the One Command process to ask for the Life Workshop to be created and you are already in the theta state as you begin to expand into your imagination. You can use your One Command and then enter you Workshop to expand your desire into something better than you can ever imagine.
